A 12-module lithium battery enclosure machined from 6061 T6 aluminum, modeled and validated in SolidWorks toward an IP67 rating, with Ansys Thermal and Mechanical studies confirming a 55.3°C peak temperature and a structural Factor of Safety of 2.4, before the 15-item BOM and manufacturing drawing were released.

Common questions

Do you work in SolidWorks specifically, or only Fusion 360?

SolidWorks is the primary platform for assemblies, sheet metal, drawings, GD&T and simulation. Fusion 360 is used where it fits a project better, for example fast organic surfacing.

Can you pick up an existing SolidWorks file and continue it?

Yes. Reviewing an existing model tree for how it was built, and cleaning up any broken or fragile features before continuing, is standard practice rather than an extra step.

Do you provide native editable files, or only PDFs and STEP?

Native SLDPRT/SLDASM/SLDDRW files are included by default, along with STEP exports for anyone downstream who is not on SolidWorks.

Can you handle large assemblies with hundreds of parts?

Yes, including performance-conscious modeling practices (lightweight components, configurations, proper mate structure) so large assemblies stay usable rather than grinding to a halt.

Do you sign an NDA before reviewing my design?

Yes, an NDA before any concept, sketch or existing file is shared is standard and expected.
